Dr. Maloney will go over your medical history, overall health, lifestyle, and past surgeries and procedures. He will discuss your needs and goals and determine if you are a good candidate for a neck lift. He may recommend alternative procedures, or suggest additional procedures that complement a neck lift, such as eyelid surgery or fat grafting. Our patient care coordinator will then go over the cost of neck lift surgery and our financing options. If you decide to proceed, we will schedule your surgery.
About three weeks before your surgery, you will meet with us again to ask questions and get more information about the procedure. We may also give you prescriptions to fill. We will provide verbal and written pre- and post-surgery instructions.

Neck Lift Recovery, Results, and Risks
All surgeries and plastic surgery procedures have risks. We will go over all of the risks and benefits of neck lift surgery and face lift surgery with you at your initial consultation so that you can make an informed decision about your care. The most common risks of neck lift and face lift surgery are:

You may experience pain, swelling, bruising, and neck tightness or stiffness. You should keep your head elevated while you sleep, take your pain medication and other prescriptions as recommended, avoid alcohol and aspirin, and avoid strenuous activity.

The first part is the virtual consultation where you will fill out some basic information such as the procedure you are interested in having performed, and you will upload a front and side view photo. Dr. Maloney will review these and determine if you are potentially a surgical candidate as well as give you pricing. After this portion is complete, you will come in for the in-person consultation to discuss your goals and the surgery in greater detail.
